Two teams per age group. That's intentional. Most travel programs stack rosters 30, 40, even 50 players deep per age group. More players means more revenue — but less playing time and less actual development for each kid. At Canes PA 412, we cap each age group at two teams. Every player on the roster earns their spot, gets real reps, and develops with the full attention of our coaching staff. If you make this team, you're going to play. This also means spots are limited. Once an age group is full, it's full.

Canes PA 412 has assembled one of the most credentialed coaching staffs in Western PA youth baseball: Phil Fox — 7th Round MLB Draft Pick, Chicago White Sox (2024). Former Pitt pitcher with a 1.47 ERA and Second-Team All-ACC honors. Phil brings elite-level pitching knowledge and a proven track record of development. Jason Erickson — Active Pitching Coach, Miami Marlins Advanced-A affiliate. Jason brings live professional-organization coaching methods directly to our players. Oscar Aguilera — NASM / NSCA / AFAA Certified Strength Coach, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Penn State New Kensington assistant coach. Oscar brings elite physical development and discipline to every player he coaches. Andrew Muraco — Coastal Carolina commit. Posted .337 BA / 18 HRs / 76 RBI at Gaston College (NJCAA D1), earning Region 10 All-American honors. Andrew plays the game at the next level and coaches it from that perspective. David Muraco (Director) — Founder and Director of Canes PA 412 and Grind 24/7 Training Center. David has built this program from the ground up with a focus on character, commitment, and competing at the highest level.

Three things set us apart that no other program in Western PA can match: 1. The coaching staff. All training happens at Grind 24/7 in Export, PA — a purpose-built athletic development center run by Director David Muraco. We're also a registered nonprofit. Our goal is to build great baseball players and even better people — not to maximize program revenue.

Canes PA offers teams from 9u to 14u, focusing on Western PA. Canes OV, covering a broader region, offers teams from 14u to 17u.

Canes PA 412 is Western PA's premier youth travel baseball organization — and a registered nonprofit. We run two programs: Canes PA — Ages 9u–13u, based in Western PA. Development-focused travel ball with limited roster sizes and professional-caliber coaching at Grind 24/7 in Export, PA. Canes OV (Ohio Valley) — Ages 14u–17u, serving the Ohio Valley region. Same coaching standards, same character-first approach, built for high school-aged players competing at the next level. Our motto: "A Different Brand of Baseball!" That means professional coaching, limited team sizes, elite training facilities, and a culture that develops the person as much as the player. As a nonprofit, we operate with zero profit motive.
